Whole Mental Health Wellness
Taking the first step to mental health wellness can sometimes be the hardest step but I am happy you have made the commitment to getting the help you or your family needs.
Therapy is the process of solving emotional problems by talking with a person professionally trained to help people achieve a more fulfilling individual life, marital/couple relationship, or family relationships by helping you understand and resolve those emotional problems.
What is Holistic Mental Health Counseling?
Holistic mental health counseling is based in traditional mental health, herbal and nutritional medicine and many other integrative therapies. Holistic mental health care is a whole person approach that includes all aspects and layers of an individual’s life. Most holistic mental health professionals believe that genuine and long-term healing begins on the inside, within the person’s heart, mind, body and soul and extends outward through positive change in thought and behavior.
Holistic mental health counseling takes traditional methods a step further by incorporating mind, body, and spirit in a holistic approach to each person individually. Holistic mental health does not manage symptoms but emphasizes the interrelationship between mind, body, and spirit and can be any form of practice that is outside the realm of conventional western medicine.
By understanding that we, as individuals, are a network of multi-dimensional connections, we can address the multidimensionality of human beings. By working inwardly, we begin to connect the present situation with the memory or even somatically. The more connections the better and this is mainly because if a person reacts a certain way towards a problematic or stressful situation, there is a probability that they can also have the same reaction in other aspects of his or her life. That is what we do as humans.
